Kotlin – tradition and modernity
The beginnings of the company date back to the interwar years. However, it is the year 1997 that represents a watershed in the company's history. Why? It was at this time that Kotlin company was established, combining the tradition of Polish planters with the capacities of the new investor – the Norwegian Orkla Foods concern. The Finish sweets of the Panda company, belonging to the Orkla group since 2005, have been a part of the Kotlin company portfolio since 2006. The brand of Panda has been known to Polish consumers since 1991 when the Panda Polska company became the pralines' distributor. Kotlin is also the exclusive distributor of Anna's gingerbread which are produced in Sweden. Thanks to the combination of tradition and modernity we have been able to cater successfully for the needs and tastes of millions of Poles.
